Hello John I did install the Ford IDS software and when I received that message I believe there was an option to bypass it or ignore it. I was able to continue the install. You will then need to go on-line and find the necessary driver for the VCM afterwards. I believe that this is the file referred to during the install. It is called RTLUSBNT.126_xp.zip.
