I was searching around uobd2 and finally get a BMW Scanner cable with pa-soft 1.4: I have successfully reprogrammed my LCM IV in Full with ZERO Tamper Dot. Make a connection under the hood. And follow these steps • Reprogram Euro LCM IV to U.S LCM IV (Trace Function by Trace Function, From Euro ==> U.S.it takes some time) • Replace VIN & KORRECHT Mileage from IKE • Remove Tamper Dot • Clear ALL fault codes stored • Done. The USB version of PA Soft BMW Scanner 1.4.0 will work with the round under hood connector as long as you have the adapter cable. Xcar has the adapter cable and you can also get them on Amazon as well for less than $15. Somehow I have now ended up with 3 of the round adapter cables!!
