I have download Sun Solaris 10 iso CD image,after downloading it i try to open with power ISO software for burn it.but it shows that ISO image is an Non-bootable. Hi Folks, I have downloaded an ISO image of sun Solaris 5.10 sparc 64 bits form the oracle website but unable to burn it on dvd as a bootable disk. I tried it using 'power iso' and 'ultr-iso' but getting an error msg as 'non bootable image'. However I still burned it as a bootable disk and tried to boot from the DVD but it’s not working. Yeah it might be a pain in the ass if you are used to having everything handed to you on a silver platter as in many of the recent Linux releases. I've been a Solaris administrator for 8 years now. While it's not as polished as many - the stability and performance is very good when paired with Sun hardware. I have servers currently up for over 800 days! I routinely have servers with an uptime of over a year before I bring them down for patches and such.

Whether they have it “right” or not will depend to a large extent on the contributions made by others.
